Develop

The third element is develop. This is split into two segments.

Compelling Return on Investment

  1. Drivers and motivation,
  2. Experiential engagement.

Just as Kolb identified there are different phases to learning (Concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptulisation, active experimentation), there are ways that work best with a particular individual dependant on their preferred personality type and engagement method.

Wheresmylunch can help in the understanding of this method, and experiential preferences thereby helping in the alignment of drivers and therefore motivation to succeed.

It could be that :-

  • Perhaps there is a need for improvement in a specific area such as performance, focus, or setting of personal or organisational growth targets or it could be that there is a need to break a habit that is holding a person back.
  • Perhaps there is a need to change the culture of an organisation such as improve customer experience by improved focus on real customer need as opposed to supposed customer need.
  • Perhaps there is a need for construction of a development plan framework or business strategy to achieve a certain organisational mission objective.
  • Perhaps there is a need to provide business leadersa with some safe time to reflect on, play with and construct business strategy or simply explore confidentially a challenge that cannot be discussed with others in their organisation.
  • Perhaps there is a need to provide a space to destress.
  • Perhaps there is a need to re-energise those creative processes, to install a new learning culture or a new thinking space. The outcome could be a new way of working, or a new product or process.

Whether you have completed the Analyse and Acquire phases of the Wheresmylunch process, we can work with you to define the business justification, and draw on our experience to help to build a compelling return on investment for an intervention with us.
