Aston Business Assessments have launched a new psychometric tool called Trait. This tool allows participants to understand their natural preferences and patterns in behaviour more with a result of improved self awareness. This improvement leads to greater efficiency at work, allowing you to plan around their strengths and weaknesses.
The strengths of this tool are that it can be completed quickly online (about 15 minutes) and from it developmental suggestions can be explored from the resulting detailed report. It considers 13 dimensions of personality, all of which represent important aspects of personality at work. The core draws on the big 5 models of personality which has been widely agreed upon model for personality traits in research literature.
In addition to the academic construction, this tool also carries a large norm group which allows positioning against the general UK population and potentially groups such as CEOs.
