Your credibility within an organisation is made up of three things, that of

  • TRUST – do the people around you trust what you are saying and doing?
  • EXPERIENCE – do you demonstrate your experience?
  • BELIEVABILITY – is what you are saying and how you are acting believable?

This is then blended into how AUTHENTIC you are. It could be what face you put on when you go into the arena, and how congruent this face is to perhaps how you actually are in terms of values and feelings.

TRUST appears frequently in the arena of great leaders and great teams. Showing appropriate and ‘relevant’ VULNERABILITY builds great followership and performance. Relevant being associated with the current context that you operate in.

Moving on from understanding this and personal gaps can then lead to greater delivered leadership and potential.
